WonderBits is pleased to announce its continued participation in the ECOMOVIL23 consortium as part of the Strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation (PERTE) of the Electric and Connected Vehicle. It has been two years since WonderBits became part of this project, based on public-private collaboration, which focuses on strengthening the value chains of the Spanish automotive industry, a strategic sector for Spain.

WonderBits will contribute to the PERTE of the Electric and Connected Vehicle with two innovative projects:

  • ROBOTVEC: Optimization of industrial plant intralogistics with AMRs using Artificial Intelligence. It simulates and optimizes the collection and delivery of parts and pieces in the plant using real data and provides instructions to the control unit. • WEB 3.0 PLATFORM: Attestation of production, quality, and documentation indicators via blockchain. Prediction using Machine Learning on whether objectives will be achieved or not, along with alerts related to them.

Both projects aim to drive the digital transformation of the automotive industry, aligning with the European Union’s goals of digitalization and sustainability. WonderBits has been funded by the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan and by the EU through the NextGenerationEU program.

‘We are proud to be part of the ECOMOVIL23 consortium and to contribute to the digital and sustainable transformation of the automotive industry in Spain,’ stated Darío Terrés, CEO of WonderBits. ‘Our projects, ROBOTVEC and WEB 3.0 PLATFORM, will not only optimize production and the supply chain but also strengthen Spain’s position as a leader in technological innovation.’

The PERTE of the Electric and Connected Vehicle aligns with the EU’s objectives of becoming the first climate-neutral continent, creating a more attractive investment environment, generating quality jobs, and promoting the defense of European values and democracy. This project is a key step toward building a greener, more digital, and resilient Europe.
